Cancellation Policy
Fair policies for students and tutors.
We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both students and tutors, respecting the time and commitment of all parties involved.
1. Student Cancellations
If a student needs to cancel or reschedule a session, they must do so through the TUTORERA® platform. The following rules apply:
- More than 24 hours notice: No cancellation fee. The session can be rescheduled or a full credit will be issued to the student's account.
- Less than 24 hours notice: A cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the session fee will be charged. This is to compensate the tutor for their reserved time.
- No-show or cancellation after session start time: The full session fee will be charged.
2. Tutor Cancellations
If a tutor cancels a session, the student will receive a full credit for the session and will be notified immediately. TUTORERA® monitors tutor cancellations, and repeated cancellations may affect a tutor's ranking and status on the platform.
3. How to Cancel
All cancellations must be made through the "My Sessions" tab on your dashboard. This ensures that the cancellation is officially logged and that all parties are notified correctly.
