Account Information: We collect information necessary to create and manage your account, such as your name, email, and date of birth.

Tutor Verification Data: To ensure platform safety, we collect information for Tutor verification, including copies of your CNIC, degrees, and other relevant documents. This data is handled securely, access-controlled, and is not shared publicly.

Session Data: To facilitate quality assurance, safety, and dispute resolution, we record all tutoring sessions. This data includes video, audio, chat transcripts, whiteboard activity, and screen sharing. Our systems may also use AI to automatically scan communications for violations of our policies, such as attempts to share contact information or the use of inappropriate language.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to operate the marketplace, facilitate connections between Students and Tutors, process payments, and ensure the safety and security of our platform. A Tutor's public profile does not contain personal contact information.

Session recordings and logs are accessible to authorized administrators for proctoring and incident review. Parents or Students may also be granted access to recordings of their own sessions for review purposes.

3. Data Security and Retention

We are committed to protecting your data. We use commercially acceptable means to prevent loss, theft, and unauthorized access. All sensitive data, including session recordings, is encrypted.

Standard session recordings are retained for 90 days. Sessions that are flagged for review or are part of an incident report are retained for up to one year, or longer if required for legal reasons.
