Platform Usage Policy
Rules for a safe and secure platform.
To maintain a safe, secure, and high-quality environment for all users, TUTORERA® requires that all platform services be used in accordance with the following policies. These rules are non-negotiable and form part of our Terms of Service.
1. Communication Isolation Rule (CIR)
All communication between students (and their parents/guardians) and tutors must occur exclusively through the TUTORERA® platform. This includes messaging, scheduling, and all teaching sessions.
You are strictly prohibited from sharing or soliciting any form of personal contact information, including but not limited to:
- Phone numbers (including WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.)
- Email addresses
- Social media profiles (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Physical home or work addresses
Any attempt to move communication off-platform will result in disciplinary action, up to and including a permanent ban. This rule is essential for user safety and allows our team to provide effective oversight and dispute resolution.
2. Authorized Teaching Tools
All tutoring sessions must be conducted through the official TUTORERA® virtual classroom or other designated platform tools. The use of external communication software (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, Skype, WhatsApp calls) for teaching is strictly forbidden. Our platform provides integrated tools for video, audio, and chat, which are monitored and recorded for safety and quality purposes.
3. Professional Conduct
All users are expected to maintain a professional and respectful demeanor. Harassment, inappropriate language, or any form of misconduct will not be tolerated. Users must adhere to the cultural and ethical standards of Pakistani society.
4. Consent to Monitoring
By using TUTORERA®, you acknowledge and consent that all on-platform activities, including messages and session recordings, are subject to monitoring by authorized TUTORERA® administrators. This is a key component of our safety and quality assurance framework.
